Sarus Hospital Information Systems

Developed entirely in our own R&D facility with Microsoft .NET technology infrastructure and supported by TUBITAK, Sarus is Turkey's and the region's first 100% web-based hospital information system. Integrated into all hospital processes with its multi-layered architecture and XML web services, Sarus works with all web browsers. It also works successfully on iOS and Android platforms, which are among the most important tools of today's technologies. In addition to all these, Sarus works very effectively in all medical, administrative and financial processes of hospitals, increasing efficiency in hospital processes.

Digital transformation applied in health information systems has enabled hospital processes to be operated in a more controlled, faster and more efficient manner, in addition to the digital records of users in the hospital information system. In this context, with some of our applications that we share below, the hospitals we serve have not only transitioned to a paperless hospital process; they have also transformed into fast, safe and efficient healthcare facilities. Decision Support Systems

The Clinical Decision Support System is actively used not only for doctor-related areas of the Health Information System, but also for guiding nurses and auxiliary healthcare personnel. For example, a fall risk scale form has been filled out for a patient with a fall risk and a score of 9 (high risk) has emerged. In this case, the decision support process is activated and the nursing care plan automatically provides the necessary guidance on Sarus for the procedures that need to be performed on the patient. At the same time, these warnings are automatically displayed with icons on the Nurse Assistant screen.

Thanks to this screen that we developed within the scope of digital transformation, which greatly facilitates the workflow of nurses working in the clinic and is independent of HIMSS processes; the assigned nurse can see all the tasks planned for patients in the service they are authorized for without even logging into the Hospital Information System. All warnings and icons on this screen can be edited in the field without the need for software development, just like in the general structure of Sarus.

Smart E-Order Systems

Treatment processes to be applied to patients through patient E-Order processes work according to 5 verification methods within the scope of HIMSS 7. During the E-Order phase, the doctor can see the E-Order history of drug information and can continue generic-active ingredient guidance on the same screen. They can also easily and quickly complete appropriate treatment and E-Order templates for themselves.

Special Health Information

With the Special Health Information application developed on a new generation software platform, we have created a structure where health information specific to each patient is recorded. Data recorded in these areas (pacemaker, stent, allergy warnings, chronic disorders, etc.) work in an integrated manner with Sarus Clinical Decision Support.
